Curve: Eastwood’s New Film
Warner Bros. will release Clint Eastwood’s next film, “Trouble With The Curve,” on September 28, 2012.
The story centers on Eastwood’s character, an aging baseball scout who’s losing his sight and decides to take a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter to check out a hot prospect. Amy Adams will portray the daughter and Robert Lorenz, Eastwood’s Malpaso partner, will make his directorial debut with Malpaso producing.
“Curve” will open with the Major League Baseball playoffs about to start. Sony opted for a similar late September opening slot for its MLB-themed “Moneyball” last fall.
“Curve” will open against Sony’s sci-fi “Looper” and Fox’s drama “Won’t Back Down.”
