Meyers' Romantic Comedy to Star Streep and Baldwin
August 14, 2008–Alec Baldwin may join Meryl Streep in the untitled romantic comedy that Nancy Meyers scripted and will direct for Universal. Baldwin will play one of two men who get caught up in a romantic triangle with Streep.
Baldwin, who is nominated for an Emmy for “30 Rock,” most recently completed work on Nick Cassavetes' “My Sister's Keeper” for New Line.
Meyers is producing her comedy with Scott Rudin. The film begins shooting February 12, 2009.
