Middle Men: Indie Feature about Internet Porn Industry
Sep 19, 2008–Luke Wilson and and Giovanni Ribisi will star in indie drama “Middle Men,” about the birth of the Internet porn industry. The project has a SAG waiver and will start shooting October 20, 2008 in Phoenix, with George Gallo directing from a script he wrote with Andy Weiss.
The story centers on a businessman who builds the first online billing company dealing exclusively with adult entertainment and finds himself in the middle of a whirlwind filled with starlets, conmen, Russian mobsters, federal agents and international terrorists, while trying to hold on to his marriage and family.
The film is being financed through Christopher Mallick's Oxymoron. Mallick and Blue Star Entertainment's William Sherak and Jason Shuman (“Bangkok Dangerous,” “The Messengers”) will produce along with Michael Weiss.
Mallick, an Internet entrepreneur, formed Oxymoron Entertainment last year. Gallo's writing credits include “Bad Boys” and “Midnight Run.”
