Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas will Star in Caper Drama The Code
September 30, 2007–Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas will star in caper drama “The Code” under the helm of Mimi.
Ted Humphrey has penned the script, based on a story by Ruben Leder. Freeman will portray a veteran thief who recruits a younger crook, played by Banderas, to help him pull off one final job in order to repay his debt to the Russian mob.
Shhoting begins in mid-October in Sofia, Bulgaria, at Nu Boyana Film Center. Producers are Boaz Davidson, Danny Lerner, Les Weldon, Lori McCreary and Randall Emmett. First Look Holdings principals Avi Lerner, Henry Winterstern, Danny Dimbort and Trevor Short are exec producing. First Look Studios will distribute in North America, with Nu Image handling international territories.
